Tasks
Project steering, reporting for realization of high voltage battery production system and technical revisions.
To design, specify high voltage battery production processes to deliver the agreed project targets.
To optimize, improve HVB process in series production to deliver ensure business targets.
Key Responsibility
· Project management, risk assessment, steering, reporting, escalating for new launching production system, technical revision, and continuous improvement for existing production system.
· Cooperate with BMW counterpart to develop/update assembly concept, realization of HVB production system from feasibility study till end of production by delivering robust and capable HVB production systems.
· Lead cross functional team to perform feasibility study, target catalogue, business case study, concept development, function specification, design review/release, support purchasing, quality control for manufacture, pre-acceptance, shipment, customs clearance, installation, handover(BBU), final acceptance, etc. by coordinating internal and external resources.
· Launch and engineer change steering from drawing evaluation till implementation to ensure production system operational readiness.
· Development mandatory documents for high voltage battery production by respecting IATF16949 (e.g. PFMEA input, control plan, assembly station sheet, process flow chart, layout, etc.)
· Business result/progress reporting and communication to BMW AG counter partner, department managers and cross functional team members for information transparency based on the situational case of the businesses.
· Series planning support for continuous improvement against quality and productivity (e.g. PQM, line balancing, ergonomics optimization, TPU, etc.)
· Lead PQM points, potential or open technical problems and steer within planned time and cost.
· Financial steering against technical evaluations; Steer personal annual financial targets under BBA finance framework (bottom-up-planning, final allocation, forecast I, forecast II, forecast III, etc.) and support project financial targets to deliver GR as planned.
Qualification
· University degree / graduated in engineering. (manufacture/automotive/engine/electrical)
· Knowledge of high voltage producing processes with strong HVB product/process focus.
· Work experience within HVB assembly or Cell production is preferred.
· Knowledge of project management and budget control.
· Experience of HVB processes with high volume preferably within the HVB production industry.
· Previous experience of leading a HVB assembly or transmission technically oriented team.
· Experience of manufacturing processes and quality control.
· Knowledge of high voltage battery products and characteristics.
· Knowledge of quality standard and tools. (ISO9001, IATF16949, PQM, FMEA)
· Awareness of health, safety and environmental issues relevant in a assembly environment.
· Highly developed communication skills in a multi-culture working environment.
· Presenting skills with logical structured thinking.
· Highly developed software skills in terms of. (excel, word, power point, AutoCAD, ug, solid woks, Catia, etc.…)
· Proficient English skills for writing and speaking. (German would be an advantage)
· Background in HVB producing processes.
· Experience in project management.
