We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager for Payroll
Operations to lead our payroll team in the SEA, Pacific, and Indian regions.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of
payroll operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in processing
payroll for our employees across these regions.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Team Management:
Provide strategic leadership to the payroll team, fostering a positive and
collaborative work environment.
Effectively manage and develop a high-performing team, ensuring optimal
performance and professional growth.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance
overall efficiency.
Payroll Operations:
Oversee end-to-end payroll processes for SEA, Pacific, and Indian regions,
ensuring timely and accurate payroll execution.
Ensure compliance with local regulations, tax laws, and company policies in
all payroll activities.
Implement best practices to enhance payroll processes, improve accuracy, and
reduce manual interventions.
Vendor Management:
Collaborate with payroll service providers and other external vendors to
optimize service delivery and resolve issues promptly.
Evaluate and select vendors based on performance metrics and
cost-effectiveness.
Compliance and Reporting:
Stay abreast of legislative changes in payroll-related regulations for the
SEA, Pacific, and Indian regions.
Generate and review payroll reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with
internal and external requirements.
Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and
standardization to enhance overall payroll efficiency.
Drive initiatives to streamline payroll operations, reduce errors, and
improve employee satisfaction.
Communication and Stakeholder Engagement:
Effectively communicate with internal stakeholders, including HR, Finance,
and other departments, to address payroll-related queries and issues.
Provide regular updates to leadership on payroll performance, challenges, and
improvements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human resources, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
8 years of experience in payroll management, with a focus on SEA, Pacific,
and Indian regions.
In-depth knowledge of local payroll regulations and tax laws.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience in process improvement and system implementations is a plus.
