We are seeking a experienced Key Account Manager to establish and drive our snacks business in Indonesia. This pivotal role entails building and managing the local sales team, developing robust distribution networks, and achieving significant market penetration.
Key Responsibilities
●Build and manage the local snacks sales team; set and deliver on ambitious sales targets and strategic objectives.
●Possess and apply solid expertise in core snacks sales channels, specifically General Trade (GT) and Modern Trade (MT).
●GT Management: Develop and manage a strong network of local distributors to expand GT coverage. Ensure strict compliance with corporate pricing policies to maintain market stability and prevent unauthorized cross-region sales.
●MT Management: Take charge of developing and maintaining MT accounts (e.g., chain supermarkets, hypermarkets, convenience store systems). Build and nurture long-term, stable partnerships with key channel clients to achieve annual business goals.
●Systematically gather and report on competitor activities, market trends, and consumer insights to inform product development and strategic adjustments.
●Conduct regular visits to distributors and key retail accounts to address issues related to inventory, logistics, and after-sales support, thereby enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Qualifications
●Bachelor's degree or above.
●Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the FMCG/Food industry.
●Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in English; proficiency in Indonesian is a significant advantage.
●Prior experience with Chinese snacks brands in their international expansion, or experience helping international snacks brands enter new markets is highly preferred (e.g., brands like ChaCheer, Weilong).
●Based in Jakarta, Indonesia.
